About Us

We founded Psalm 91 Fosters, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, in late 2023 with a mission to support youth who have aged out of foster care. We believe that fostering a relationship with God is essential for personal growth and healing. Through faith-based programs, mentorship, and community, we aim to help former foster youth discover their identity and worth in Christ.

Over time, Psalm 91 Fosters recognized a growing need within the community and made the decision to expand outreach and services to also support younger children in foster care, as well as adoptive and kinship families throughout Montgomery County, Walker County, and the surrounding areas.

When it became known that another Charity organization in a nearby community would be dissolving, it became very important to ensure that the children and families who had depended on those services would not be left without support or resources.

After speaking with many of the former volunteers of that organization, we were grateful that most agreed to continue serving the community through both Psalm 91 Fosters and our new supporting entity, Psalm 91 Resale. Their experience, compassion, and dedication will help continue meeting the needs of local foster, adoptive, and kinship families.

We look forward to building strong relationships throughout Montgomery County, Walker County, and the surrounding areas .
